Final Algebra II Exhibition
1.) If I were to exhibit again, I would make sure that my poster was more refined and make sure I reviewed the concepts before I talked to anyone. I was able to answer all questions, however none of them were very in depth.
2.)Moving into different math classes, my strength is remembering old concepts and applying them to what I learn in the moment. My weakness in moving on is my ego and believing that I am going know everything at the beginning.

For my exhibition, I am planning on presenting my polynomial project. In this project, we took a photo off of the internet, and found polynomials in the image and plotted the points. Points that we plotted were, the zeros, local minimum and local maximum. A zero is a point where a polynomial crosses over the
x axis. To find a zero you take the leading coefficient and factor it out, then
you do the same thing with the constant term in the same equation. Then you put
the factors of the constant term over the factors of the leading coefficient.
After all of the fractions are created, plug them into the equation, and if
they equal zero when solved then it is your zero, if not then you disregard the
fraction. Each polynomial will have a certain amount of zeros, depending on the
leading exponent. A local maximum is the highest point on a curve in a
parabola. The local minimum is the lowest point on a curve in the parabola. A
global maximum is the highest turning point of the entire parabola, and the global
minimum is the ultimate lowest turning point of the entire parabola. Then we drew a picture that was different than the original using the parabolas. This project is a representation of what I have learned in Algebra 2 because I learned independence in math and how nature is very mathematical in itself.
Final exam project
This project was interesting and engaging because we are able to create the test and choose what kind of problems we want. I liked using my mathematical creativity because it allows me expand my knowledge and love of the mathematical realm.
For the test I plan on completing the Semester Exam Review. Then when I am finished I will go back and rework every problem.
